Aviator Athletics Premiere: A Grand Celebration of a New Era
Arkansas State University-Newport has officially launched our athletic programs. To commemorate this milestone, ASUN hosted the highly anticipated Aviator Athletics Premiere on April 21, 2023. The event not only marked the inception of athletics at ASUN but also served as a remarkable fundraising opportunity for the university.
The Aviator Athletics Premiere was a dazzling affair that unfolded at a magnificent venue, captivating ticket holders with an unforgettable experience. Guests were treated to a delectable spread of gourmet concession stand food, thoughtfully provided by Chicken Shack Produce, ensuring a delightful culinary journey throughout the evening.
The highlight of the event was the presence of esteemed special guest Houston Nutt, who added an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings. His appearance added a touch of star power and made the Aviator Athletics Premiere an een more memorable occasion.
Attendees had the exclusive privilege of mingling with coaches during early access, offering them a unique opportunity to forge connections and gain insights into ASUN's athletic programs. The premiere also showcased the official athletics logo, giving attendees a sneak peek into the visual identity of ASUN's athletic endeavors. Moreover, guests had the chance to preview Booster Club sponsorship opportunities, providing them with various avenues to support and contribute to the growth of ASUN's athletics.

The Aviator Athletics Premiere also presented an array of enticing prizes for guests to win, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. The raffle prize winners included Riley Guziewicz, who claimed the grand prize: a John Deere XUV590M Gator generously donated by Greenway Equipment. In addition, there were four lucky winners in the MVP raffle. Joey DuPree walked away with $1,000 cash, Tyler Jackson chose the Alienware Laptop as his prize, William Tate won an exhilarating trip to Vail, CO, and Cris Driver claimed the equipment trailer from B/R Trailer, adding to the jubilation of the evening.
